At several big tech companies, staff often scratch their vehicles accidentally when entering and leaving tight parking spots. Disgruntled employees reported such incidents as P0 bugs, demanding the facility to find a solution.
This caught the attention of their bosses, who responded in their own ways.
Satya Nadella: “Our mission is to empower every individual and every organization on the earth to accomplish more. So, we will hire a coach to train everyone into perfect drivers.”
Mark Zuckerberg: “Our company motto is 'move fast and break things.' This is not a bug. It's a feature.”
Sundar Pichai: “A new, Google-designed garage is under construction and will solve this problem once and for all when completed. Meanwhile, we have deprecated the current garage.”
Tim Cook: “Don't look at the scratches as setbacks; see them as opportunities to upgrade your vehicles.”
Elon Musk: “I know. I’ll lay off 90% of the employees. That will give each person 10 parking spots.”
Jeff Bezos: “Clearly, anyone who reports that they can't park properly should enter the Performance Improvement Plan.” Not a single complaint has been heard since.
